Investigation revealed that since the outbreak of the virus, many Chinese manufacturing countries have suspended production and also many of the products already produced could not be shipped into Nigeria based on the efforts of the government to prevent the outbreak of the disease in Nigeria.
Some of the marketers of phones and other electronic gadgets who spoke to this reporter confirmed that since the outbreak of the disease they have not been able to import phones and other electronic gadgets from China.
Apart from this, investigation further revealed that the prices of the phones have gone up since most importers have not been able to bring in phones from China.
Nigeria is a major trading partner with China and the outbreak of Coronavirus will in many ways affect the economies of both countries.
