Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the presidential election in Benue state.
The returning officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Faruk Kuta announced the result on Monday at the INEC head office in Makurdi, the state capital.
Tinubu polled 310,468 votes, followed by Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) who secured 308,372 votes.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 130,081 votes, while the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) polled 4,740 votes.
