The speculations which had been on for some time now about whether the former Governor of Oyo state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja would leave PDP has been laid to rest as he has officially announced his exit from the Peoples Democratic, PDP.
The former Governor while addressing thousands of his supporters at his Bodija residence said that the impunity and bias by the national leadership of the Party was the reason he decided to dump PDP for ADC.
Ladoja added that he did everything within his power to allow internal democracy to operate within the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP was not allowed by some cabal within the party who saw him as a threat.
According to him, joining African Democratic Congress, ADC was after extensive negotiations and that the decision was reached collectively.
Notable politicians among those who were at Chief Ladoja’s house was former Secretary to the government of Oyo state, Chief Sarafadeen Alli, Honourable Dapo Lam Adeshina and many others.
