Isese Light Kiddies Nursery and Primary School, the pioneer Isese-centric educational institution in Ibadan, has finalised arrangements for its 2026 end-of-year session party scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
According to an official statement released by the school’s proprietor, Araba Ifalere Odegbemi Odegbola II, the event will take place at Odegbola Junction, Omi-Adio, located within the Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The upcoming celebration is designed to honour academic excellence while deeply immersing the younger generation in indigenous traditions.
The event lineup includes the presentation of prizes and gifts to outstanding pupils across all classes, alongside live traditional Yoruba drumming and energetic dance exhibitions.
Pupils will also participate in Yoruba poetry recitations, interactive folklore storytelling sessions, and a colourful runway parade showcasing a rich variety of traditional Yoruba attire.
Reflecting on the vision behind the event, Araba Odegbola II stated that this celebration provides a vital platform to reward the pupils’ hard work and, most importantly, instill a profound sense of pride and appreciation for their rich Yoruba cultural heritage from an early age.
