The Oyo State Chapter of the National Association of Herbal Medicine Employers has appointed Evangelist Bayo Lawal as its acting Public Relations Officer, the association announced on Wednesday.
NAHME, a registered association with the federal government, represents herbal medicine practitioners across Nigeria.
Lawal’s role, according to a press release by the association Chairman, Dr Fatai Ayedun, will involve managing the chapter’s public communications and serving as its official spokesperson.
In his first statement after appointment, Evangelist Lawal promised to work assiduously to project the association in a positive light.
He emphasized his commitment to transparency, effective communication, and advancing the interests of herbal medicine practitioners in the state and beyond.
“I pledge to uphold the integrity and reputation of NAHME by ensuring our activities are clearly communicated and our contributions to healthcare are widely recognized,” Lawal said.
“Together, we will strengthen the association’s relationship with stakeholders and the public.”
The appointment is part of NAHME’s broader efforts to enhance its public presence and support sustainable growth within Nigeria’s herbal medicine industry.
