EKITI JULY GUBER: Atiku, OGD, Govs, Others Storms Ekiti For Eleka

Former vice president; Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, former governor of Ogun State; Otunba Gbenga Daniel, former governor of Niger State; Alhaji Babangida Aliu and other notable members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) including serving governors, senators have pledged their total support and rediness for the victory of the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Prof Kolapo Olusola Eleka come July 14 election.

The PDP stalwarts made this pledges at a mega rally held in Ado-Ekiti while presenting the flag of the party to the standard flargbearer, Prof Kolapo Olusola Eleka for the coming election.

Also, the National Working Committee of the PDP called for an unbiased conduct by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) and from security agents in favour of the All Progressive Congress, APC in the 14 July Ekiti State governorship polls.

A mamoth crowd attended the PDP mega rally in Ado-Ekiti in preparation for the July 14 elections in the state.

This was the high-point of the flag presenting to the candidate of the party, Professor Kolapo Olusola and his running mate, Deji Ogunsakin at a well-attended mega rally in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, which had governors, former vice president Atiku Abubakar, former governors, PDP presidential aspirants and members of the forty-four-man Ekiti governorship campaign committee in attendance.

The PDP national chairman, Uche Secondus, said the massive crowd of supporters at the event was an indication that the party is well on ground and coasting to victory in the election.

Some of the PDP presidential aspirants and members of the forty-four-man Ekiti governorship campaign committee took turn to commend the people of the State for standing firm behind the PDP, even in the midst of intimidation.

On the part of the governorship candidate, Kolapo Olusola Eleka and the chairman of the PDP governors forum, Governor Ayodele Fayose, the acceptance of the party in the state through the numerous landmark achievements of the Governor Fayose administration was a pointer to a rousing victory for the party and the candidate on the 14th of July poll.

Some of the electorates who are party loyalists promised to standby the PDP and the candidacy of Prof Kolopa Olusola and Alhaji Deji Ogunsakin for the coming landmark victory on July 14.
