Harry Kane has officially won the 2026 Men’s Ballon d’Or, becoming the first Englishman to lift football’s ultimate individual prize since Michael Owen in 2001.
At a star-studded gala inside the London Palladium, Bayern Munich forward received the trophy from Brazilian legend Ronaldo.
Kane secured the honour after a spectacular 73-goal season for club and country, beating out Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé and Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal to claim the crown.
The historic evening also featured Spain’s Alexia Putellas capturing her third career, Ballon d’Or Féminin, solidifying her legacy at the pinnacle of the women’s game.
