APC Governorship Candidate Alli Appeals for Genuine Reconciliation To Reclaim Oyo State

Senator (High Chief) Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, has appealed to party leaders, elders, youths, women, support groups and members across the state to embrace genuine reconciliation and close ranks ahead of future elections.

Speaking in a statement, Senator Alli said the task of reclaiming Oyo State requires a united APC driven by a common purpose and commitment to progressive governance.

He warned that the 2023 general elections showed the damaging effects of internal divisions, saying whenever personal interests override the party’s collective aims, APC’s electoral prospects weaken.

Alli urged former aspirants, political associates and loyal members to set aside grievances, misunderstandings and personal ambitions that could hinder the party’s progress.

He emphasized that no individual is greater than the party and pledged readiness to work harmoniously with all stakeholders to build a stronger political family in Oyo State.

Demonstrating a conciliatory tone, the governorship candidate sought forgiveness from anyone he may have offended and called for reconciliation founded on mutual respect, trust and brotherhood.

“Forgiveness and unity remain indispensable ingredients for lasting political success,” he said, reaffirming his belief that a united APC has the experience and vision to provide purposeful leadership and sustainable development.

Alli also extended a hand of fellowship to party faithful and urged members to replace suspicion with trust, rivalry with cooperation and bitterness with renewed unity and shared responsibility.

He said only collective effort and genuine collaboration can restore voter confidence and enable the APC to reclaim Oyo State.

Concluding the statement, Senator Alli appealed for prayers, support and partnership as the party prepares for upcoming electoral contests, stressing that a united APC will work with the federal government to deliver development and improved welfare for Oyo residents.

“Our strength is unity. Our victory is unity. Our future is unity,” he said.
