Adewoyin, IPMAN National President, Congratulates Comrade Mathias Ote on His Election as National President of PTD

The National President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Chief Dr. Kolawole Adewoyin has congratulated Comrade Mathias Otasukporo Ote on his unanimous election as National President of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD) branch of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG).

In his message, Adewoyin expressed profound confidence in Ote’s ability to lead the vital transport sector amid ongoing industry challenges.

“His wealth of experience, commitment to workers’ welfare, and visionary approach position him perfectly to navigate the complexities of our industry,” Adewoyin stated.

“I have no doubt that under his stewardship, we will witness enhanced collaboration, improved safety standards, and more efficient transport operations that benefit all stakeholders.”

Highlighting Ote’s proven track record—from navigating fuel supply logistics to advocating for safer working conditions and fair labour practices—Adewoyin noted that his leadership is poised to drive meaningful advancements.

Also speaking on the election of Comrade Ote, IPMAN’s Deputy National President, Alhaji Mainasara Katanga, described his emergence as timely.

“In these trying times of economic pressures and operational hurdles, Comrade Ote’s visionary approach and collaborative spirit will undoubtedly steer PTD towards greater heights,” he affirmed.

“His election signals a promising chapter of enhanced efficiency, unity, and resilience in petroleum transportation.”

Alhaji Katanga equally urged Comrade Ote to collaborate with the legally recognised IPMAN executives under the leadership of Chief Dr. Kolawole Adewoyin.

“Comrade Ote is a man of integrity, a staunch believer in the rule of law and justice. I am confident he will work closely with the legally recognized IPMAN leadership of Chief Dr. Kolawole Adewoyin.”
