The leaders and entire cadre of this organization extend our deepest condolences to Comrade Joe Okei-Odumakin, the wife of the recently deceased National Publicity Officer of Afenifere; the civil and other rights community and indeed the whole Yoruba nation and Nigeria at large on the demise and transition onto greater glory of the hardworking and dynamic Yinka Odumakin.
The loss of this patriot is one that would be hard to bear and would prove harder to replace.
Odumakin was during his lifetime a committed and dogged fighter for justice and egalitarianism. He was always in the thick of the action, fighting from the front ,-whether confronting the military or on one of the several interventions for the public good.
We once again condole with his family, particularly his soul mate and wife; an Amazon and patriot in her own right. We pray for Elédùmarè to grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
